Licenses

Last updated: October 28, 2026

Video Editor is built with open-source software and uses fonts under their own licenses. We are grateful to their authors. This page lists them and the license each is used under. The App itself is not open source; see our Terms of Use.

1. Open-Source Software

The App is made with Flutter and the Dart language (BSD 3-Clause License, © The Flutter Authors and the Dart project authors), and uses these packages:

The App's video editing engine uses AndroidX Media3 and Kotlin Coroutines on Android (Apache 2.0) and Apple's AVFoundation and Core Image on iOS. Code for communication between Flutter and the device is generated with Pigeon (BSD 3-Clause).

These packages also include smaller libraries of their own (for example the Firebase, Google Mobile Ads, Meta, RevenueCat and OneSignal native SDKs), each under its own license. The full license texts are available in each project's repository and at pub.dev.

2. Fonts

Tajawal, Lalezar, Amiri, Bebas Neue and Pacifico are the fonts you can choose for text in your videos. All of these fonts are licensed under the SIL Open Font License, Version 1.1 and are bundled in the App unmodified.

3. Emoji

Emoji stickers are drawn with your device's own emoji font (Apple Color Emoji on iOS, Noto Color Emoji or your device maker's font on Android), which is part of the operating system.

4. Questions

If you believe something in the App is used without the right license or credit, please contact ahmadnasser.aff@gmail.com and we will correct it.
