Terms of Use

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of the Video Editor mobile application ("the App", "we", "us"), developed by Ibrahim Hassan and available on Android and iOS. By downloading, installing or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

1. The App

Video Editor lets you edit videos from your device: trim, crop and rotate them, adjust colors, apply filters, add text and stickers, change their speed and volume, and export videos and cover images. It does not require an account, and all editing happens on your device.

The App is free to use with a limited number of free edits (each saved video or cover uses one). It is supported by advertising (banner, interstitial and optional rewarded video ads served through Google AdMob) and, where available, offers an optional subscription (see section 3). Features, limits and the number of free edits may change over time.

2. License to Use the App

Subject to these Terms, we grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to download and use the App on a device you own or control. You may not:

• Copy, modify, reverse-engineer or create derivative works of the App, except where applicable law allows it
• Sell, rent, lease, sublicense or otherwise distribute the App or any part of it
• Remove or alter any proprietary notices in the App
• Use the App in any way that breaks applicable local, national or international law
• Interfere with, disrupt or try to get around the App's free-edit limit, ads, purchases or normal functioning

3. Video Editor Pro Subscription

Where available (currently on iOS), you can subscribe to Video Editor Pro, which removes ads and gives unlimited edits. The plans, prices and any free trial are shown in the App before you subscribe.

• Payment is charged to your Apple ID account when you confirm the purchase, or at the end of the free trial if one is offered.
• The subscription renews automatically unless it is cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• You can manage or cancel your subscription in your App Store account settings. Any unused part of a free trial is forfeited when you buy a subscription.
• You can restore an active subscription on a new or reinstalled device with Restore on the Pro screen, while signed in to the same Apple ID.

All purchases are billed and processed by Apple under its own terms; we do not process payments or store payment details. Refunds are handled by Apple under its refund policies.

4. Rewarded Ads

When you have no free edits left, you can choose to watch a rewarded video ad to get one more free edit. The edit is given only when the video is watched to the end. Rewarded videos need an internet connection and are not always available.

5. Your Content

You keep all rights to the videos you edit and the text you add. Because editing happens on your device, we do not receive, host or review your content. You are responsible for making sure you have the rights to the videos you edit and share, and that your content does not break the law or anyone else's rights.

6. Intellectual Property

The App, including its design, graphics, icons, code and branding, is owned by Ibrahim Hassan and is protected by copyright, trademark and other intellectual property laws. Nothing in these Terms transfers any ownership rights to you. Open-source software and fonts included in the App are used under their own licenses, listed on our Licenses page.

7. Advertising and Third-Party Services

The App shows ads delivered by Google AdMob and uses other third-party services (usage analytics, crash reporting, push notifications, campaign measurement and subscription processing) to run and improve the App. How these services handle data is described in our Privacy Policy. We are not responsible for the content of third-party ads or the practices of third-party services.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free or free of harmful components. Please keep your own copies of videos that matter to you.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Ibrahim Hassan shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or any loss of data or content, arising out of or related to your use of, or inability to use, the App.

10. Termination

We may suspend or end your access to the App at any time, without notice, if we believe you have broken these Terms. You may stop using the App and uninstall it at any time.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with a new "Last updated" date. Continuing to use the App after a change means you accept the updated Terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Lebanon, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules.
